Beauty Pageants are a way girls can learn important life skills while also having fun. It’s a way to learn the difference between winning and losing and also gaining friendships. Beauty Pageants are encouraging as competitions, that bring out the best in young women. Women empowerment does not come in one form, it comes in many forms. One thing can be considered to be empowerment for one woman but the other might not see how it can be considered as empowerment.
Kirti Rani, a contestant participated in the Mission Dreams Miss India 2023, answered few questions in the Interview conducted by Mission Dreams.
- Why did you decide to compete in this pageant?
Answer: I decided to compete in this pageant because I want to make my state proud by bringing home the crown. Also, I believe that Mission Dreams gives us a platform where we can establish ourselves and start our career in the renowned fashion and modeling industry.
2. Tell us about yourself
Answer: I am Kriti Rani from Patna, Bihar. I am 15 yrs old. I am a 11th grade student and I want to be a model and an actor. I am working towards achieving my goals to become a model.
3. What’s the first thing you will do after the pageant is over?
Answer: After the pageant is over the first thing that I am gonna do is start with full fledged preparation for modelling as I will come to know about the good things and short comings about my life. Participating in this pageant will open a new chapter of my life, reviving the different aspects of both glamour industry.
4. What do you think is the biggest problem facing young people today?
Answer: Managing the pressure to succeed in every area of life and finding time to do it all seems to be one of the biggest challenges facing the youth today and apart from this Starting off with an age old struggle that most generations can identify with, Bullying has always been and will continue to be a problem within school and college systems.
5. Will you hire a pageant coach to help you prepare apart from our in-house groomers & trainers?
Answer: Absolutely, yes! A pageant coach is our only your biggest cheerleader, a pageant coach is there to guide us from the best preparations of pageant paperwork to selecting a show-stopping wardrobe and improving our on-stage presence.
