“I don’t want to limit myself”- Palak Thakkar, Mission Dreams Finalist

The ‘Miss. India – Mission Dreams’ Pageant is one of the National Pride and Treasure of India. The pageant is one of the most respectable title & award in India for Women. Miss India – Queen of Substance holds an annual pageant in different categories to identify Indian Women who exemplify Beauty, Talent, Intelligence & Compassion.

Palak Thakkar who has recently taken part in the Mission Dreams Virtual Beauty Pageant is al set to fire the ramp. Let us read ahead what she has to say about her journey till Mission Dreams.

“We are a hope for the next generation today. We all have a responsibility to play all the roles with grace that can bring a change in the lives of the people and make the society a better place to live. I believe every person has certain roles to play. Mission dream is a great platform for me to reach a greater range of people and if I get a chance to win Miss India Mission Dreams through this platform l would like to tell everyone out their to follow their dreams as each and every person is unique. It is important to love themselves first while also try to give a helping hand to the others so that we all grow together and make this world a better place to live in. I believe that this platform will allow us to tell the world who we are and this runway is the track to step up, walk, take a ride and face the adventures of our missions.
I am a badminton player and I play professionally, I have played on district, state and all India level. I once qualified for All India Badminton Championship. I am pursuing BA in psychology 2nd year, I am a motivational speaker and I take shows and workshops.


I took a show in 2019 named “Jiyo Zindagi Tension-Free” with 2000 students. These were Nagpur municipal corporation students, I covered topics like study smarter not harder, stress management, depression, anxiety etc. As today’s generation is facing a lot of mental issues. In 2020, I started teaching students with my team for free to clear their basics in subjects/topics covered Pranayama, Motivation, General Knowledge, English etc. I have worked and I m still working on many projects. I also want to learn singing, dancing and modelling professionally as I have my set goals but I don’t want to limit myself I want to try new things and want to keep on learning.

My hobbies are making handicrafts, cycling and spending time with my closes ones. I am a person who loves and cares for everyone’s and try to bring a smile on people’s face if they are going through a hard time. 5 words that can describe me are loyal, goal-oriented, multi-tasking, honest and believer. I hope I get to win Miss India Missions Dreams and bring a change.”, she concluded.

Mission Dreams aims to create & empower role models who will serve as ambassadors to Charity, enrich the perceptions to beauty, and enhance a new strength, energy and spirit for the advancement of women while positively impacting their communities. This is a Pageant that will provide Married/Unmarried Women with a Platform where they would get an Opportunity to Make a Difference to the World.
