SRISHTI GUPTA, is a Jolly, Bubbly, Happy-Go-Lucky 19 year old girl who is just going with the flow of life. By passion , She is an Artist and a Singer at heart. She had to face severe depression in her major part of life after 12th grade.
She gets flashbacks of the day when people, parents, peer group everyone used to pressurize and judge her, a young girl who was ugly according to the superficial beauty standards. She had been a bullying victim and it took her quite long to come out of the phase completely and be at this stage today. She wishes to inspire people through her story. She had a sudden switch of career from being a typical science student who was a topper back in school , then preparing for medical entrance to ended up landing in top fashion college NIFT and getting an all India rank of 56. She says “it was unexpected and weird enough for me. That’s why I believe in having patience, because ultimately in the end you will get what is destined for you. I think I am in a much better place right now, pursuing my passion, and I have created this life with my own handwork and dedication. It’s been a year that I am into this pageantry field and I am kind of enjoying it, as it helps me develop my self confidence and overall personality. I have not only become a grown individual but an overall developed personality”.
Srishti with her hard work was able to achieve the two prominent title of icon Miss Delhi NCR and Miss Style Queen 2021.
“I have done few state level and national level pageants but I now I am trying my hands in international pageants because it fills me with pride whenever I think of that sash with India written over it on my chest and people may see the charm and glory of the crown but I see the possibility to drive the change in the society which keeps me going everyday.”, she added.
She loves to keep herself indulged in different things, Initially being a Bsc. student along side a fashion student, doing modelling and pageantry too, she loves to indulge herself in makeup in her spare time. Srishti even keeps learning and trying different designs and painting on my face and body.
She says, “I love to cherish the relationships I have with my beloved ones and all these things ultimately help to keep myself calm and make a balance between my work, body ,mind and soul . My aim is to build a society where people can see the beauty beyond the face, body and color of a woman.”. A society who can give freedom to girls and a society where women pursuing a career and field of her dreams should not be seen as a kind of selfishness is what she believes in.
