Rucha is 21-year-old girl from Bangalore. She has participated in the virtual online pageant organized by Mission Dreams. She Believes in power of human to do good. She says, “I sprinkle kindness everywhere I go. I may not do great thing but I surely can do small things in a great way, to change this volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world, with my persistent and optimistic nature. I am blend of simplicity, values, humility and brutal authenticity with great fighting spirit.”
Being the only child to her parents and diagnosed with brutal lifestyle ailment at a very young age, she compromise many valuable moments growing up. However, this has made her sensitive and empathetic. In her own little ways, she is on a constant lookout for opportunities to spread tiny bouts of goodness around.
“Blessing in disguise, whenever I look into mirror, I always considered myself as the only competition. I discard any pity and have always considered myself equivalent to any challenge that life throws my way. Such is my power of imagination and so are my dreams. From the time of my crayon days in home confinement, I have found art as a creative medium to express myself and want to pursue my career in fashion designing and modeling and winning the mission dreams miss India 2021 would be taking a step forward. I aim to paint this world with colors of joy and happiness in my own way”, she added.
She believes, beauty contests have an impact on women empowerment because they give a platform for the girls to be heard on different levels, and most importantly, it places them in leadership and mentorship roles. Beauty pageants are channels of various public campaigns or behavior change, the fact that many girls get a chance to be part of this, places women at the forefront of building a country.
