We normally think of beauty pageants as a type of competition for women, but Mission Dreams Male Beauty pageant is dispelling our preconceived notions. Founded in 2019, the event features male contestants from around the country as they highlight their cultural background, charitable spirit, and of course, good looks. The most talked-about segment of Mission Dreams Mr. India is what’s known as the “National Costume” round—when the men have to wear their states traditional dress.
Sayan Mallik, the 2nd Runner up of the MD Mr. India, is a well groomed young handsome man who witnesses to address the talent and discipline for being a successful model and a youth influencer. He says, “Mission Dreams is a big platform for those who want to shine in the fashion industry. I want to thank mission Dreams for giving me the opportunity to represent myself in the biggest format MD Mr. India 2022. I won the award of 2nd Runner up from Men’s Category and I’m very happy with this achievement. The Mission Dreams Mr. India competition focuses on more than just aesthetics. Each contestant must give back in some way. For the 2022 competition, Mission Dreams added the motto of “Inspiring Gentlemen” because they believe that those involved in the competition should be role models who encourage and motivate others. The organization also promotes environmental awareness; and every year, they complete a successful fundraising event to support a needy cause.
