Mission Dreams Beauty pageants provide a platform for achieving fame and glory. They are a good entry point into various arenas – glamorous as well as non-glamorous. Just participating in the pageant (even if you are not a winner) helps contestants stand out among lakhs of aspirants trying to enter these fields — movies, singing, tv hosting, news anchors, public relations, or politics, among many others. A girl/guy who has been through the contests has a certain presence that stands out from others. Models see a good hike in their fees even if they just participated in the Miss, Mr. or Mrs. India contest.
The best-looking candidate do not necessarily win the pageant most of the time. The winner is the one who has an all-rounded personality, confidence, and communication skills. He/She needs these qualities because they will have to deal with the media and give speeches on many occasions across the world. We expect our winners to be outspoken and knowledgeable about current affairs. The popularity of our pageant has increased manifold.
Mission Dreams hosted its annual Beauty Pageant and Fashion show at Kolkata this year. It was a three day event and contestants from all walks of life participated to try their hands into the beauty and fashion world. The event lasted for 3 days and the finale was conducted at The Amphitheatre of Eco Park on 23rd of December 2022. The event invited influencers, actors and fashion designers to witness the atmosphere and motivate young individuals. The event was categorised mainly into three parts namely; MD Miss India 2022, MD Mr. India 2022 and MD Mrs. India 2022.
The winners of the titles were namely, MD Miss India 2022- K.R.Santoshini from Bhubaneswar, Orissa(Winner), Barnana Dutta Chowdhury from Shillong, Meghalaya(1st Runner up) and Jagrati Jagwani from Gwalior,MP(2nd Runner up). Mr. India 2022 – Sohid Angolkar from Goa(Winner), Amit Meher from Odisha(1st Runner up), and Sayan Mallick from West Bengal(2nd Runner up), Mrs. India- Mou Mitra Biswas from Burdwan, West Bengal(Winner), Mehak Suri from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh(1st Runner up) and Swati Singh from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand(2nd Runner up). The grand event included the national costume round, cocktail round, Swim Suit round, special talent round and many more to bring out the best from all the participated contestants. The event was also sponsored by the exclusive brands so as to promote and outshine the cast.
Apart from modeling and acting aspirants, computer scientists, armed-forces aspirants, teachers and even doctors enter the pageant, and want to return to their fields of study thereafter. Director of Mission Dreams and the wonder woman Ms Priya says, ” I hope we encourage more young men and women to dream big and come out as winners in India and internationally.”
Today’s pageant is about creating a space where young individuals can celebrate and represent what is unique about themselves, and the goal of the Mission Dreams organization is to provide the resources and guidance to nurture, groom and protect the youth during a phase when they are most vulnerable.
