Generally, people think that Beauty Pageants are just a medium of showing off their physical beauties, but they fail to realize ample of other things about the Beauty Pageants that help the girls to shape their future in an all-round way. Mission Dreams Miss India Beauty Pageant believes that the most important quality that will shape the girl’s future is through her personality, which will in turn reflect to have a positive impact in the lives of million other people. Being in a pageant teaches you to be confident and love yourself; you have to be confident and love yourself regardless of the way that others see you. It helped you become confident while learning to accept yourself, every aspect, just the way you are. We have Princila Pius as our Miss India 2021 finalist, a 20-year-old ambitious girl who aims towards changing the World for Good. Hailing from the Sanskari Nagari, Vadodara- Gujarat.

Princila says, “I’ve always faced challenges of stereotypical mindset of people, criticizing about the appearance. I was a person who was bullied, I always felt inferiority complex and faced emotional turmoil because of my height. Furthermore, I even started feeling depressed upon being bullied, which led to low mental health. That was the alarming period in my life to choose between people’s opinions and my happiness. At the age of 13, I found my solace into sports, which taught me the importance of self-love, determination, discipline and dedication. I’m a trained football and basketball player, a cricket player, an athlete, and I’ve recently started practicing kickboxing. Apart from my daily schedule, I’ve been volunteering in a city based NGO since a year, and it gives me immense pleasure to meet and serve happiness around those underprivileged people. In a span of 1 year I’ve learned a lot of life lessons being a volunteer, the spark in their eyes when they see us I’ve understood the importance of being satisfied with what one has and be thankful for whatever extra you get! I aspire to become a voice to those, whose voices are left unheard and inspire people out there that if I can, we all can!”

Princila was bullied and put down at times but she never let her confidence kneel down. Confidence is one of the most important qualities that the judges look for in a women who is aspiring to win the title. The fact is, any women of today’s age need to be confident enough to survive in this competition called Life. But there are still many women who has a phobia of facing a crowd or perform on stage, which is successfully defeated by participating in beauty pageants as they are being exposed to a large number of audience. The biggest takeaway to keep in mind, however, is none of it matters if you don’t believe in yourself. With greater aims come challenges, and with the challenges come stress to handle them. Stress resides in everyone’s lives, and has the power to either make you or break you. The Pageant coaches here come as a rescue when they train the women on how to handle stress and be successful in their careers. It all depends on different perspectives on how we look at them to solve by the help of simplest means.
