Jiya Bhattacharya, who has recently participated in the Mission Dreams beauty pageant and reality show is all set for her debut on the stage. She is 23 years old and hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Currently doing Modelling. Her hobbies are dancing, singing, painting and she loves listening to music and fond of books. ‘Jiya is known to be very hardworking and passionate about her goals.
She says, “During my schooling period I used to participate in many of the social service activities and in every function that the school organized. I always like to take part in different activities and dance is one of my favorite passion, when I was in 2nd standard since then I have learned dance. I always take up new opportunities because I love to learn and explore new things that life gives chance for. I have done masters in fashion designing from INIFD college, Bangalore . But with my fashion study I used to do modelling also. My mom is my biggest inspiration. She is the one who always supports me and motivates me for everything. Whatever I’m today is just because of her. She’s my strength. As well as my dad also he always be there by my side in every situation. I would like to know more about modelling and brands and I wanna explore all the new things which are coming in my life.
Beauty pageant as she says, have an impact on women empowerment because they give a platform for the girls to be heard on different levels, and most importantly, it places them in leadership and mentorship roles. They also serve as a good platform to promote womanhood. Taking part in this competition calls for courage, and this means stepping out of one’s comfort zone.
It would be a golden opportunity for me that I’m going to participate in the Mission Dreams Miss India beauty pageant. I’m feeling so happy that I’m one of the finalist among so many. I want to give my best. I want to show my talents and skill in front of everyone. Once again I would like to thanks Mission dreams team for giving me this opportunity.
