“Dreams are meant to be achieved”- BAISAKHI PRIYADARSHANI, Mission Dreams finalist

Baisakhi is an English Honors student. She has recently participated in the Mission Dreams Online beauty pageant. Since childhood she had a dream of being in limelight. Baisakhi believes that “Where there is a Will, there is a way”.

In a short conversation with her she spoke about her journey till Mission Dreams. Let’s read.

“I’m from Bhubaneswar Odisha. My hobbies include gaining knowledge from different sources, dancing. I’m from a middle class family. As a result, it is not at all easy to participate in such beauty pageant competitions. I had to face many challenges. After almost 5 years of try, now finally I have got this golden chance. I love orphan children. I prefer to give them various stuffs like food, clothes, study materials during festival time. I used to do this in my school career. It is my 1st beauty pageant show.

I’m passionate about music. I have also completed 3rd year in Odissi Vocal Music with excellent marks. But due to lack of family support I couldn’t give audition for various music contests. But further if I’ll get any chance then I’ll surely do a career in singing.
I’m the winner of Inter – Trading (Business Games) and Silver Medalist in Game Show conducted by my school D. A. V Public School Unit – 8, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

It’s a sudden beauty pageant opportunity I surely don’t want to miss. I’ll be able to gain much knowledge in this contest. As I believe that “Knowledge leads to wisdom”.
All the girls I’m competing here in this platform are highly talented. But I believe that I’m unique and this sets me apart from all of them. Winning should be our determination but learning should be our 1st priority. It is my responsibility to market about this Mission Dreams Miss India beauty pageant contest as a good spokes model.

Mission Dreams Miss India contest is a famous platform for girls to show their hidden talent from various parts of our country. It has given me opportunity to build up a strong confidence and represent myself and my state Odisha among so many other contestants. I’m sure that this will be a journey of fun filled knowledge. I’m here to inspire others and be an example for other contestants. Because I believe that “Dreams are meant to be achieved not to be ignored”.
