Sharmistha says, “In one word if I have to introduce myself, it would be A FIGHTER. Yes, because I have fought an abusive marriage of 14 years and have survived cancer. But life always gives you a second chance and so I am happily remarried for last three years.”


“After 19 years of banking career I have shifted my genre to media and communications. Hons in English and an MBA in Marketing and HR , presently I am heading the National Sales and Marketing for a Media House and have succeeded in that.”


“Now is the time I thought that I should pursue my passion. I believe that given a chance to me I can represent all those married ladies out there who are yet not confident enough to go ahead and establish their passion. I want to be the one who would establish that the wrinkles and the stretch marks are the number of experiences that we all have. I believe that being married is not the end of the world, because I feel that the hand that rocks the cradle can rule the world.”, she added.
