Mission Dreams, This is a celebration of the Indian Married Woman. She’s the wife, the mother and the multi-talented achiever. “A woman of substance” who maintains tat perfect balance between her home, her family and a career if she wishes to keep one. She walks a trapeze all her life balancing all her responsibilities equally with love and dedication. It has created a unique opportunity for married women, as it believes that a married woman is a 24×7 woman. Her tasks never end. The Mrs. India contest by Mission Dreams shows that “Life begins after marriage” and that a married women is not just a domestic Goddess and stay-at-home wife and mom but she is also doing the hardest job in the world. She is thus a 24×7 woman.
Dr. Sunita Arora is a gynecologist and proud finalist of Mrs. India mission dreams 2021.
She says, “Right from the beginning I was a girl with huge aspirations and I realized this pretty early in my life that it takes a great deal of efforts and determination to turn your dreams into reality.
Belonging to a small conservative and under privilege town, life has never been a cake walk for me and I have gone through rough patches owing to my family’s not so sound financial conditions but the overwhelming support of my parents and my passion kept me going and I achieved all my goals and won many medals in diverse fields like sports, paintings, dance and academics.
My mission in life was not only to achieve for myself but for the society too so I chose to be a doctor.
I did my MBBS and MS from India and later went on to pursue MRCOG from UK and MRCPI from Ireland. I also did fellowship in cosmetic Gynecology from American board and diploma in ultrasound. I am currently practicing in Dubai as specialist Gynecologist.
My husband who is an orthopaedic surgeon is not only my best friend but also my strength and makes me feel confident and comfortable in all difficult times. God blessed me with two boys and I cannot be more thankful to him for providing me such a wonderful family.
I am a fitness conscious person and believe that healthy mind stays in healthy body. My day starts with yoga, meditation and exercises. I always take out time for my hobbies including singing, dancing, swimming, sketching and sports to relax myself.
I am a traveler by nature and fully enjoy different cultures, cuisines and adventurous activities. Clicking pictures of memorable moments and beautiful nature during travel is my passion.
I love my country’s’ unity in diversity’ with its different festivals and cultures. Staying abroad could not keep me away from it. We celebrate all our festivals and passing our rich cultural heritage and values to the next generation.
Talking about my personality, I am an organized, creative and enthusiastic woman.
What makes me unique is my underlying passion towards learning new things and evolving as a better human being. I believe you are never too old for trying out new things and exploring your own limits. Over it, being a gynaecologist my close association with society is like an icing on the cake. Every year I visit many schools, ladies clubs and doing campaigns to spread awareness towards lifestyle diseases and cancers. My articles on women health have been published in many health magazines and international journals. I am also an active member of WICCI (Women’s Indian Chamber Of Commerce and Industry) for women empowerment. I wish to make a significant contribution towards upliftment of society through my work.
Participating in Mrs. India will allow me to fulfill my dreams and will hopefully motivate other women like me, who prioritize their dream and toil to achieve what they want.
I am thankful to team Mission Dreams Mrs. India for believing in me and providing me this prestigious platform to evolve me further. I am very excited to meet my fellow participants and to start a new journey in my life.”
