Lipsa das, a finalist of Mission Dreams Beauty Pageant is ready to set the stage on fire through her performance. She is extremely talented and experienced at this young age. Ramp and stage are something which she has always been inclined to; as if the platform calls her and she owns the show. “When you follow your heart, your passion, success follows you”, is what she always believes in and that’s why she is here today. Coming from a middle class family of Bhadrak, the fashion industry is something literally out of the box for her. But, Lipsa knows what her heart wants and facing challenges is something she can’t back out from. Currently pursuing her double Bachelors in Business Administration and Law, she is extremely determined to her life goals. She is trained in Odishi Dance and is a self taught western and other classical dance forms’ performer. Her hobbies include reading, singing, writing and crafting; moreover, she is a tech enthusiast as well. She has done a number of stage shows, from acting to dancing, to singing, be in local or state level platforms, she has always represented herself well and won awards and recognitions, since childhood.
Lipsa has walked the ramp for Trendz and a few other local pageants. Mission Dreams will be a stepping stone if success for her. Throughout her 18 years of learnings and understanding of the world and compassion, she is ready to enter, learn more, grow and ace the world of her dreams and glamour. She had been an active member of the welfare organization SWAN, START; presently she is a member of YFS (Youth For Sustainability, India). She has participated and volunteered in events of road safety, menstrual hygiene, tree plantation, green environment, child labor, etc;. She is also volunteering in organizations like Shree Ganesh and MTO ( Make This Odisha). She is extremely compassionate and loves kids.
Lipsa says, “Opportunities comes to us. We just have to recognize them.” She believes in taking up the door and live it. One quote which always keeps her moving forward in life is “Rise and Shine, with every step you take in life.” Never let that desire, that hunger, the fire in you extinguish. Her dream goal is to be the best version of herself, reach that position, achieve the title, where she can say, “Yes, I can change the world.”
“This pageant is not just about Beauty and Brains but moreover, what I feel, it’s about love, compassion and generous positivity, and what we can give to the society in return, how we can utilize ourselves in service and bring a change in it. It’s a journey of self-love and imbibing growth in an individual. It gives young girls like us a dynamic opportunity. All my dear fellow co participants are extremely beautiful, amazing and talented, but what I feel sets me apart from the rest is that I’m a complete go getter. Whatever I do, I give my heart and soul to it, no matter how hard it becomes, whether it maybe comfortable on my part or not. This title means something to me, it’s not just a profession for me but a way of leading the journey I have dreamt of. I want to be a voice to the larger consciousness. I want to do something for the people and reach masses where I can use my title and whatever God’s grace I may achieve, to bring smiles and however little change I could be able to, I’ll definitely give my part.” she added.
