Often, however, a few personalities have walked in to take the industry by storm, and break the cookie cutter moulds of beauty. Resonating with the themes of inclusivity and diversity, models have, over time, broken the conventional code and formed new norms, urging the society to accept each other and themselves for their individual differences. Kasis Saraf is a 16 years old girl Hailing from the Abode Of Clouds Meghalaya. She is ready mark her debut in the beauty pageant industry and is currently a participant in the Mission Dreams Virtual Beauty Pageant. Talking about herself she says, “I have completed class 10 from B.K Bajoria School Shillong, Meghalaya and now I’m pursuing class 12 from National Institute Of Open Schooling, Siliguri. I’m also pursuing modelling and pageantry. I enjoy working out and I am fitness freak, I love dancing and travelling to new unknown places to explore and learn new things.”
“Participating in this beauty pageant can help me refine how I walk, smile, and even talk. And most Important thing is that this beauty pageant will give me feedback on my presentation skills and get me started on making that first great impression. This system gives an opportunity to a queen who isn’t afraid to go out in her community and not only get involved but represent her state and nation. I’m an extremely ambitious person, so I’m constantly chasing anything that will give me a sense of achievement. I joined this beauty pageant not because I want to be popular or I want money, crown and title, but I joined this pageant because I want to show that this pageant can help me boost my self-confidence and to show to our community that what I’m capable of and that I am Confidently beautiful with a heart.”she added.
