Kajal Thapa is a finalist at the Mission Dreams Virtual Beauty Pageant. She is a 23-year-old girl from Shillong, Meghalaya. She did her schooling from Lady Keane and graduation from St Mary’s College. Currently she is pursuing MA. She stays with her mom and a brother. Her Mother owns a small shop. Her dad passed away when she was very young. Her passion is to become something in life so that she can provide financial support to her family of 3 as she(her mother) really struggled and fought hard to educate Kajal and her brother being a widow.
She calls her mother to be the greatest source of inspiration to her. Mothers are one of the first indications of the sovereignty of God in our lives.
Kajal says, “My mother has been the greatest influence in my life. She taught me how to be independent, how to make strong connections, and how to set goals to become a strong woman. Through positive and negative times growing up, I have used every experience as a life lesson, and something to grow from. My mom has always taught me that the real secret of life is to be completely engaged with what you are doing And instead of calling it work, realize it is play , and just have fun around with pure heart.”
Her hobbies include dancing, singing and acting. Kajal says, “Well, I haven’t achieved as much as I would like to but I think working as a BPO in TCS and helping my mom financially counts as a small achievement for me. If, I get this opportunity in this competition, then it would be a dream come true for me as I always wanted to take part in a pageant and be involved in such events. It would be a life changing opportunity for me. And It would be great for my career to be recognized which such a good platform like Mission Dreams. And I feel if you follow your dreams success follows you. I want to earn the respect and gain the opportunity to prove my worth at such great platform which will open many doors for me.”
