Krity Lama is a participant for the Virtual Beauty Pageant organized by Mission Dreams. Krity is a 19-year-old girl who is currently pursuing BA economic honours from Vishwa Bharti University, Calcutta. She has a vision for modelling and dreams to pursue her passion. She has a strong supportive family who is very grateful to her parents that they allow her to take her own steps and be her guide always.
We spoke to the young lady and here is what she said, ” I come from a place which conjures visions of snow peaks steeped in splendor a land of breath taking beauty , crowned by the majestic Himalayas DARJEELING. My father is a retired Indian army and my mom is a housemaker. I believe in growth of confidence, personality, positive self image and over all a more refined version of myself . I write poems in my mother tongue “Nepali” which helps me express myself fosters, my ability to explain and refines my ideas. I am the first runner up of MR. & MISS. DARJEELING pageant 2021. Being passionate about public speaking I have hosted many virtual concerts and events. I am a social worker too. Despite facing personal obstacles, defeats, impossibilities and failures I know that side of my personality that knows no obstacles and recognizes no defeats, no such word as impossible and no such reality as failure. I want to become a self reliant woman, strong and courageous enough to stand for myself in the world where I can speak up if I am is deprived of my rights be it political social or economical.”
She wants to create a better future for the nation and wishes to inspire every women who faces difficulties in taking a stand for herself. As she is involved in the social work too, she recognises every talent and leaves no stone unturned that would bring a change for better in the society.
