When Urvashi Rautela dons an ethnic ensemble, you can rest assured she’s going to go all out
Actress-model Urvashi Rautela’s personal style has evolved over the years. Risque ensembles are her go-to but when going down the ethnic route, her checklist includes statement jewellery pieces, eye-catching hues and often, bold makeup. Case in point, Urvashi got all dressed up recently to shoot a special Kathak dance video. For the same, she opted for a skirt-style ghagra which came in a bright cobalt blue shade. The heavy embroidery on the blouse runs through the edges of the dupatta which the diva pinned for fuss-free movement. She completed her look with a heavy choker necklace, matching earrings, kada and a maang tikka. She added a desi element to her look by adorning her bun with fresh jasmine flowers in a gajra.
Urvashi has a soft spot for statement jewellery. Remember her stunning look at Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh’s wedding reception? Urvashi stunned in a laser-cut lehenga that featured handcrafted zardozi and leather cutwork on the green. Her blouse also served as some major inspiration for wedding guest style. A one-shoulder silk blouse with pleated detailing and a tie-up from above the waistline. Her accessory? Exquisite jewellery- an elaborate necklace and sparkling rings. For hair, Urvashi wore a chic ponytail and let some strands loose from the crown.
During an event, Urvashi turned heads in an all-black ensemble. A very muted velvet blouse wedged between a lot of shimmer left us in awe. Her ghagra had a frill detailing at the hem and the dupatta with rows of sequins. She rounded off her ensemble with a chunky necklace and earrings. She elevated her look by styling her hair in an elegant quaff.
One look by Urvashi is enough to catch our attention. She was a vision in pink and the outfit was worn for one of her song promotions. The star picked a pair of roomy palazzos and an embellished bustier. The hero of the look was a pink waistband Urvashi wore to keep her dupatta together. Finally, a little black bindi and a striking pair of earrings.
