Mission Dreams has created a unique opportunity for married women, as it believes that a married woman is a 24/7 woman. Her tasks never end. The Mrs. India Contest shows that ‘Life Begins After Marriage’ and that a married woman is not just a domestic goddess and stay-at-home wife, but she is also doing the hardest job in the world. She’s thus a 24/7 Woman.
A software engineer by profession and a fitness and fashion enthusiast by passion, Rashmili has the cutest smile and a charming persona. Having her roots in Odisha and born in a family with no exposure to the world of fashion or glamour she always used to watch beauty pageants on Television and would wonder how exciting it would be to participate in one of them. Well, her chance came after 27 years and indeed it was a very exciting experience just the way she had imagined it to be. And, the icing on the cake was when she was declared as the Runner Up of Mission Dreams Mrs. India Historic. Few questions that she answered are:
1)In what ways do beauty contests help a married women?
ANSWER: A beauty pageant is a celebration of beauty. It is an act and a venue to acknowledge and give honour to the beauty God placed in us. It is also an effective means to campaign for social awareness of different social issues and problems that need our attention since the answers the candidates give serve as piece of good advice to the concerned public.

2)Why did you join this pageant?
I joined this pageant to have a sense of achievement and fulfilment. Likewise, the excitement I may experience and memories I make here are beyond measure in worth for widening my social horizon and understanding of people.
My primary reason to join this pageant was to venture and further explore my capabilities in different genre. Likewise, it is a great privilege and honour to become one of the candidates for Mission Dreams Mrs. India Historic, since the organization will be helping and assisting us in promoting them through the organization’s various programs and activities.

3. How is Mission Dreams helping you achieve your goals?
I thought of working for a noble cause and found that education for the underprivileged was the best way to uplift them. I have been working towards it for the last 6 years within my capacity, may it be taking free tuition classes post my job or providing them with books for primary education. By using this platform of Mission Dreams, I want to contribute towards this cause in a bigger way in the upcoming years.
Being in corporate never allowed me enough time to participate in a beauty pageant. Come 2021 and in the middle of a global pandemic I saw an opportunity of a virtual beauty pageant and decided this was the perfect launchpad.

4)How would you describe your own personality?
I am an optimist person. I look at things in a positive way, thinking that the glass is half-full rather than half empty. I truly believe that one must not limit themselves, explore new avenues, conquer the unconquered and live life to the fullest. And, this for me is the real essence of life and the roadmap to success!

5. What would you like to say about Mission Dreams?
This was the first time I participated in a beauty pageant and nevertheless I enjoyed every bit of it. Coming from a corporate background this was something very different and new for me. I love experimenting and that was my first reason to participate here and today I am glad that I took the step! I am grateful that my efforts were recognized and I won the runner’s up title in the Mrs. Category! Through my journey, if i can inspire even a single person i would feel grateful!

6)If you were given the chance to live again, what would it be?
If I were given the chance to live again, I would still be me. I know that there is a work in this world that I alone could do. There is a space in this world that I alone could fill. There is a sound that I alone could make. There are people who would miss me if I am not around. That is why if given the chance to live again, I would still be me.

7) How was your journey with Mission Dreams throughout the Pageantry?
I am thankful to the entire team of Mission Dreams specially Priya Priyambada Ma’am for conducting this virtual pageant amidst the pandemic. It was a fun-filled 7 days full of learning and exploring new things! The team was well prepared to conduct the event virtually and were immensely supportive in ensuring that every participant gives their best. In Spite of being virtual, they ensured that it is as close to an offline pageant experience! So, ladies and gentlemen, take that one step towards your dreams and you never know where you might land!

Most married women are multi-talented because they have to juggle careers along with their family and home. Stay-at-home moms also have a household of demands and responsibilities to balance on a daily basis and are just as responsible & versatile. Women today are bankers, journalists, policewomen, executives and pilots in the work field and are managing roles that have demanding deadlines, whether it is at home with their families or at work.
